Tales from The Ravenous: Chaos Warhounds

Their eyes radiated with a fervent blood lust in the dark bitter night.  Fuelled by the chaotic hatred of their existence, they scoured the blackness for my soul.  Chilled to the bone by the howling screams that they emancipated from the warp; I feared for my life.  Frantically scuttling deeper and further into the Cimmerian shade that laid outstretched before me.  The vitality of the world around me began to spiral out of control;  the air that my lungs absorbed began to boil.  Tearing and devouring the fabrics of reality the hounds of hell were lapping at my door.  Feasting on my flesh and blood, they left nothing for the sands of time to remember my name...
This past week I relished in the various red hues that caressed the bristles of my paint brush.  From blood red to red gore, the Chaos Hounds of War, that I was painting were finally coming to life.  Like the blade of a bloodfeeder they cried out for more.  Having laid dormant since the spring equinox their were ravenous for my attention.  Even as I lay in bed writing these words I am haunted by their vociferous screams.  An insatiable appetite for both destruction and attention I have devoted a large amount of my diminutive free time to their needs.  With Paradise Lost, "A cry of Hell Hounds never ceasing bark'd With wide Cerberean mouths full loud" can be heard forever echoing in madness of the night.

  1. Cheers OST for the compliment. I have been enjoying the process of painting models despite my lack of hobby time. I cannot wait to finish these Hounds of Hell off!!!
